Privacy Policy

We collect the minimum needed to answer your enquiry and to complete the export review every order goes through. We do not sell personal information, and we do not run advertising trackers.
What we collect
Information you send us. When you submit the quote form or email us, we receive your name, work email, organization, destination country, the product you are asking about, quantity, timeline, the end use and end user you describe, and anything else you write.
Technical information. Our host records standard server logs, including IP address, browser type and the pages requested, for security and reliability. Our analytics are cookieless and aggregate — we can see that a page was viewed, not who viewed it. The site sets no advertising or tracking cookies, which is why you are not seeing a cookie banner.
Why we collect it
- To answer your enquiry and prepare a quote.
- To complete the end use and end user screening that applies to every order, and to keep the records that export regulations require.
- To keep the site secure and working.
Where the law requires a legal basis, ours is the performance of steps taken at your request before entering a contract, our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries, and compliance with export control obligations.
Who we share it with
We use service providers to run the site and deliver mail: our hosting and network provider, and our transactional email provider. They process the data on our behalf and may not use it for their own purposes.
We may disclose information where required by law, or where required to satisfy an export licensing or screening obligation. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for advertising. Submitting the form does not subscribe you to anything.
How long we keep it
Enquiries that do not lead to an order are kept only as long as they are useful for the conversation. Records connected to a quote or an order — including the end use and end user information — are retained for the period export recordkeeping rules require, which is generally five years from the transaction.
Your choices
Write to sales@kelvain.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to ask us to delete it. We will do so except where a record has to be retained for export compliance, in which case we will tell you what is being kept and why. Depending on where you live you may have additional rights, including the right to complain to a supervisory authority.
International transfers
We are based in the United States and the information you send us is processed there.
Children
This is a business-to-business site. It is not directed to children and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy we will update the date at the top. Material changes will be described here rather than made quietly.
